N°6 - Fontaine vieille
Les eaux de cette fontaine sont captées au nord vers le chemin du Devoy puis après un “repos” sont canalisées jusqu’au “au chemin tirant à la Berre” (actuellement rue Sarcey de Sutières) avant de s’écouler par la “Fontette” (actuellement appelée “Fontaine Vieille”).
Les eaux de cette fontaine avaient, d’après les anciens, des vertus. Chaque jour au moment du repas, les donzérois se pressaient à la fontaine avec une bouteille ou un pichet afin de bénéficier de cette eau pure et fraiche. Dans les années 1990 après analyses, cette eau a été déclarée “non potable”.
The waters of this fountain are collected in the North towards the chemin du Devoy and after a “rest” they are channeled to “au chemin tiring à la Berre” (currently rue Sarcey de Sutières) and flow through the “Fontette” (currently called “Old Fountain”).
The waters of this fountain had, according to the ancients, virtues and every day at mealtimes the people of Donzère crowded, with a bottle, with a pitcher to benefit from this fresh and pure water. But, around the 90s, after analysis, this water was declared “undrinkable”.
